Position Title: Business Unit Analytics Manager - Oncology (Heme / GI), Vaccines and Immune Therapy

Position Type: Regular, Full-Time Hybrid

Location: Mississauga, Head Office

Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Performance and Digital Analytics, you will be an integral partner to our cross-functional brand teams and the Oncology therapeutic area, focusing on Heme / GI, along with our new Vaccines and Immune Therapy business units. You will work closely with the respective therapeutic area Insight Manager(s) to deliver the insights, analytics and reporting needs of the business unit.

Through these experiences, you can deepen your skills through modern techniques applied to wide-range of data including customer segmentation, sales and prescription data.

You will have responsibility to:

Actively analyze customer, competitor and product information and provide recommendations to brand teams, sales and business unit leadership

Communicate and influence strategic input into portfolio planning and optimization of resources across the portfolio, including creative simulations for various scenarios

Manage development of customer segmentation and patient share models to generate inputs for sales targeting strategies and execution plans

Facilitate the annual sales quota setting, in collaboration with the forecasting team, and incentive payout process

Ability to lead change and adoption through business strategies and process transformations

Drive implementation of advanced analytic models and outputs to enhance customer engagement effectiveness and business outcomes

Create data-driven recommendations through robust analysis across digital channel engagement strategies

Deliver monthly reports, ad-hoc analysis and recommendations for all products in business portfolio

Measure execution of therapeutic area strategy against key performance indicators

Partner with Marketing and Sales to generate insights and reports to drive the strategic direction

Partner with other cross-functional teams, including the Data Capabilities, Advanced Analytics, and IT, to design and implement new business capabilities

Your qualifications include:

3+ years pharmaceutical experience (preferred) and / or University degree or equivalent experience in science and/or business (Pharmaceutical sales experience is an asset)

Knowledge and experience within the Oncology and/or Vaccine and Immune Therapeutic Area(s)

Intimate understanding and working knowledge of IQVIA & Patient Support Program data sets is an asset

Strong analytical mind-set and proven track record with analytics (e.g. Excel, Python, SQL, and/or R) and business intelligence solution (e.g. Power BI, MicroStrategy, and/or Tableau)

Strong communication and presentation skills, including proficiency with PowerPoint or similar

Strong critical thinking/planning skills to create business value through dashboard and report creation.

Strong ability to build relationships including demonstrated history of successful collaboration and partnership
