Position Business Systems Manager - Cardlocks

Location: Kamloops, BC

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Vice President, Operations

Cool Creek Energy Ltd and Rocky Mountain Energy Ltd are dynamic and growing companies in the energy sector. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Manager to lead the expansion and optimization of our cardlock and bulk terminal network. This is a key role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will be a technical leader for future IT projects within Cool Creek Energy Ltd and Rocky Mountain Energy Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management:

o Maintain the integrity and smooth operation of our cardlock network systems. This includes proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance.

o Supporting our operations team with fuel terminal software and hardware. Leading future projects for cardlock and fuel terminal upgrades.

o Contractor and vender leadership in regards to technology upgrades within the organization.

System Software Expertise:

o You will be responsible for managing system software, conducting upgrades, and troubleshooting software-related issues.

Project Leadership:

o Lead the onboarding of new sites to our cardlock network, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Computer Skills:

o You must possess above-average computer skills, including familiarity with server hardware and networking concepts.

Flexibility:

o Ability to support an on-call schedule

Travel:

o Some travel will be necessary to visit and support our various cardlock locations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the energy or logistics sector.

Technical Skills:

o Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot computer systems, software, and hardware.

Project Management:

o Demonstrated experience in leading projects from initiation to completion.

Communication Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Benefits:

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
