Our professional, high performing team strives to deliver effective services and evolves product offerings, to address emerging insurance trends and meet the needs of our clients.As the Business Project Manager - Underwriting Transformation you will play a key role in supporting business initiatives and is responsible to support the development and implementation of activities and processes that ensure the effective implementation of business change and the evaluation of benefit realization. This role works closely with stakeholders and agile project teams to ensure that actionable implementation plans have been defined, benefits are being tracked and management is on target to meet business goals, schedules and budget objectives. The Business Project Manager will facilitate and/or recommend actions and activities to improve decision making, drive faster adoption and ensure an ongoing focus on the achievement of business results.What you're responsible for:

• Participates in the development of project roadmaps, business strategies, plans and management processes to support achievement of goals. Responsible to support management of the overall plan, including benefits realization tracking and coordination of communications across initiatives and business areas as needed.

• Actively monitors and reports on achievement of business and/or project goals, evaluating progress and facilitating solutions or corrective actions.

• Establish a channel of two-way communication between stakeholder groups to ensure they are informed and understand dependencies across business units.

• Identify gaps in roles and responsibilities to support the required business outcomes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate results of projects and management activities and their connection to business objectives and benefits.

• You will travel occasionally.

• You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.

• You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.

• You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.

• You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

• 5 years of successful experience in a leadership role.

• 3-5 years of project experience.

• Degree in Business or equivalent related experience.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other related accreditation such as Change Management certification would be an asset.
