The role will be responsible for helping to scope, define, manage, coordinate and report on the execution of initiatives by working with resources from various cross functional partners and enterprise functions, such as Risk Management, Legal and Regulatory, Operations, IT, Finance and Human Resources.Key Accountabilities:Strategic Portfolio ManagementSupport the effective execution of key regulatory and strategic initiatives and projects, providing guidance from a business management and project management perspectiveProvide reporting to support the Portfolio Management Committees oversight of the CDS portfolio of initiativesCoordinate with initiative and project leads for the completion of project artifacts, as necessary, and incorporate key milestones into portfolio level reportingExtract and collate key decision points in current projects and initiatives in order to assist with the Portfolio Management Committees oversightAct as Project Lead and / or Business Project Manager as may be appropriate for certain initiatives from time to timeAssist business stakeholders in researching and monitoring in support of advancing and/or developing business casesBusiness ManagementSupport the effectiveness oversight of business operations through developing and implementing process improvements and related reportingCollaborate on organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity in alignment with the CDS objectivesIdentify opportunities to enhance business performance recommending solutions to address improvements that could impact achievement of CDS objectivesIdentify opportunities to deliver solutions to enhance CDS regulatory program and drive efficiencyWork with the leadership team to set KPIs, monitor business performance and develop data insights that support the CDS objectivesDevelop and distribute appropriate reporting for various governance bodies, including the CDS and TMX Group Boards and the CDS Portfolio Management CommitteeMust Haves:Post-secondary degree in business, finance or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in Canadian and/or global capital markets is preferred, ideally in a post-trade capacityProven experience in supporting the delivery of complex projects, including regulatory and/or strategic driven initiativesExperience across post trade clearing either on a consultative basis or in practiceKnowledgeable with operating in an FMI regulatory environmentSuccess in building trust and maintaining long-term and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong drive and initiative; comfort with ambiguity and fluid mandatesExcellent analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently within time constraintsDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verballyAptitude for both strategic and analytical thinkingPassion for excellence and integrity; tenacity and resilienceExceptional organizational and time management skillsNice to Haves:PMP certificationCSC - Canadian Securities CourseNote: Hybrid role, 2 days in office (either Toronto or Montreal location)In the market forxe2x80xa6Excitement - Explore emerging technology and innovation, as well as ventures and digital finance that shape the future of global markets!
