Job Title: Business Operations (BizOps) Engineer Department: Operations Reports to: Director Operations Term: Full-Time Continuing Primary Location: 505 March Road (and/or remote)

Literature reviews are the cornerstone of evidence-based research, but their production has traditionally been highly manual, time consuming, and error prone. Today, more than 300 of the world’s leading research organizations, including more than 60 percent of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies, trust DistillerSR to securely produce transparent, audit-ready, and regulatory compliant literature reviews faster and more accurately than any other method.
The Role As a Business Operations (BizOps) Engineer you will play a critical role in connecting our data systems to help the organization make data informed decisions and better serve our customers. You will be responsible for developing a data warehouse and data synchronization systems to enable reporting, business KPIs, and analytics.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and support them with automated reports and dashboards.
• Define data schemas to store and track historical business data.
• Design, implement and maintain a data warehouse that will support the reporting and analytical needs of stakeholders.
• Create processes to synchronize data between our internal platforms and cloud systems, applying transformation and cleansing as needed.
• Proactively seek out opportunities to introduce automation and reduce manual reporting.

Skills & Qualifications (Education and Experience)

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, business operations, software development or a combination of education and experience acceptable to Evidence Partners.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with AWS and database administration.
• Advanced knowledge using SQL to query, analyze data and create reports.
• Experience in querying cloud REST APIs to retrieve data.
• Experience integrating into BI / data visualization platforms (Tableau, Qlik, Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, etc.).
• Experience working with SaaS products in an Agile environment.
