Breakthrough Academy specializes in helping high-performing entrepreneurs in the contracting industry grow their businesses by implementing excellent operational systems into their companies. We believe in the unlimited potential of entrepreneurship and help our Members (customers) break through barriers and take their businesses to the next level.




Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a contracting company's operations, develops an entrepreneur's core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along a clear business plan. Breakthrough Academy is now ten years old and growing rapidly, with over 600 business owners developing in the program, and an awesome team of 50+ running the show. As we serve companies across the continent to level-up and systemize their operations, Breakthrough Academy itself has grown significantly, with 10 years of back-to-back revenue growth.



To continue building out our Ascension Programs (Leaders Circle) we're hiring a Business Leadership Coach, a seasoned business leader with a strong executive coaching style, deep industry expertise, and the ability to guide high-revenue entrepreneurs through advanced leadership challenges.

You're skilled in executive-level communication, asking powerful questions, and facilitating insight rather than giving direction. You have a proven track record of strategic planning, leadership development, and financial management. You can connect with business owners running 8-figure organizations and challenge their thinking from a peer perspective. You thrive helping leaders delegate, empower their teams, and focus on long-term strategy over daily operations. You're energized by guiding business owners who have "graduated" from working in the business to working onit. You demonstrate exceptional EQ, discernment, and confidentiality when working with high-performing leaders.

IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE:

Coaching Leaders Circle and Masters Circle Members -- elite entrepreneurs running mature contracting companies, to elevate leadership capacity, strategic thinking, and organizational structure. Facilitating deep-dive group sessions that go beyond systems into leadership, mindset, wellness, and relationships. Running structured one-on-one executive coaching sessions focused on delegation, culture, team development, and scaling sustainably. Guiding Members in setting long-term strategic plans and implementing the right frameworks to support continued growth. Bringing insight and best practices from your own executive experience to challenge and inspire others. Playing a key role in the evolution of the Ascension Program, working alongside senior leadership to refine meeting structures, content, and cadence. Learning the rhythms of the program and Member base in your first 6-12 months, absorbing insights before taking full ownership of the program's direction. Championing the Member experience, building strong peer-to-peer relationships within the coaching community. Supporting major events and advanced leadership retreats as a facilitator and thought leader.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

10+ years in an operations or executive leadership role within the general contracting or construction industry, ideally having led divisions or companies with $5M-$50M+ in annual revenue. Proven experience leading senior managers or executive teams. Deep understanding of organizational design, leadership development, and business systemization. Strong operational and financial acumen , able to speak the language of growth, margin, and performance. Experience coaching or mentoring leaders, formally or informally. Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, comfortable leading groups of accomplished peers. Ability to present information engagingly in both in-person and virtual environments.

Nice to Have:

Certified executive coach or relevant leadership coaching experience. Experience as a CEO, COO, VP of Operations, or Senior Leadership within a large contracting or construction organization. Experience contributing to or leading leadership development programs.
