Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 8 months with possible extensionMUST HAVES:
Experience with a wide range of methods, tools, and techniques for business analysis such as, but not limited to business functional modeling, business event modeling, business process mapping.
Demonstrated understanding of software development methodology and life cycle Working Experience with data analysis tools Experience and knowledge working with data in some or all of these technologies: Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or other scripting languages
Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and/or Cognos, for both on-premises and cloud solutions where applicable.
Experience working with Oracle and MSSQL databases.
Demonstrated understanding of BA life cycle. This includes awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies (Microsoft Azure/Dev-Ops). Build automation experience is an asset.
Knowledge of emerging technologies in data analytics to recommend research, evaluation, and data management tools/ techniques.
Demonstrated experience with developing business strategies, business process re-engineering.
Technical knowledge to identify and evaluate information technology options, and to conduct complex systems analysis and design for the development of new systems or systems modifications.
Conduct and provide technical expertise in complex systems analysis and design, coordinate development of all systems documentation, and develop and oversee testing and implementation of systems and applications.
You can identify and evaluate sources of data for research purposes, assess and select mathematical/statistical methods, investigate and assess new technologies, and prepare statistical analysis
Demonstrated experience with creating Business Cases, Screen Design/User Interface, Business Process Models, Privacy Impact Assessments, Threat Risk Assessments, and Logical architecture artifacts, among other deliverables
