This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through new business acquisition, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the long-term success of strategic partnerships.The Business Development Specialist - OEM reports to the Business Line Manager CTS Sales and MarketingThis position can be based anywhere in Canada but preferably in Ontario.The main activities you\'ll take care of

  • Identify and target new OEM opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and execute sales plans to achieve company revenue objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with OEMs, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and aligning solutions to address their challenges.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape within the OEM space.
  • Lead contract negotiations with OEMs, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while maintaining the integrity of the company\'s business interests.
  • Collaborate closely with sales & marketing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, market conditions, and customer feedback to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company goals.
  • Drive account expansion strategies by identifying won opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Provide training and competency development on products and services.
  • Managing the day-to-day sales activities and planning through CRM tool.
  • Supporting in other related tasks and projects

What will help you succeed in your new role
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, product/service development or a similar role
  • University degree in business, marketing, or similar knowledge gained through experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and an ability to give presentations and trainings.
  • Strong knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment and products.
  • Ability to communicate in English, written & verbally. French would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Results driven, autonomous and self-motivated
  • Must be able and willing to travel in the designated territory (35% within Canada and internationally when required)
