They will provide support in terms of product training as well as sales-related materials and commercial to the Technical Sales Representative with the goal of achieving projected monthly and quarterly sales targets.The Business Development Specialist - Turnkey Project Solutions reports to the Business Line Manager - Oil-Free Air Division.This position is preferably based in Saint-Laurent, Qc but is also open to applicants based in Ontario. More frequent travel would be required for an applicant based in Ontario.Main responsibilities include:Business Development

  • Formulate an implementation strategy to successfully launch our business focus.
  • Execute and maintain accordingly a business development plan with the sales team by promoting the offering.
  • In collaboration with the Business line manager, provide professional business support functions to specific corporate accounts such as contract negotiation, product selection, terms & conditions, contract administration, price, and incentive programs, etc.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and prompt complaint resolution by interaction with other departments.
  • Evaluate industry trends, competition, client feedback, and develop or adjust marketing strategy accordingly.
  • Cultivate strong internal networks to address commercial or technical service issues promptly.
Project Supervision
  • Coordinate and plan the execution of work performed by various sub-suppliers.
  • Supervise the job to ensure it is completed on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Adhere to the organization\'s policies and standards related to environmental practices, health and safety, recycling, sustainability, and quality assurance.
Sales and Sales Support
  • Implement and optimize a robust sales pipeline to ensure that projected monthly and quarterly sales targets are not only met but also exceeded.
  • Develop commercial and technical sales templates.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Sales Representatives to cultivate and nurture prospective client relationships, thereby creating new business opportunities.
  • Play a pivotal role in enhancing the Sales team\'s effectiveness by designing and developing compelling and tailored sales materials. These materials may include client presentations, general client correspondence, templates, and other sales-related content.
  • Provide valuable insights and expertise by reviewing and refining product proposals and quotation packages in collaboration with the Technical Sales Representatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in roles such as product management, sales, or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of compressors installation, skid packages and containers
  • Strong knowledge of compressed air systems and experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in producing reports and presentations, as well as delivering training sessions.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English (French proficiency would be advantageous).
  • Willingness to travel within Canada as needed for business purposes.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Educational background in Engineering or a related technical field would be considered an asset.
Fluency in English is required to communicate with colleagues and customers outside of Quebec.Special Conditions

  • Formuler une strat\xc3\xa9gie de mise en \xc5\x93uvre pour lancer avec succ\xc3\xa8s notre orientation commerciale.
  • Ex\xc3\xa9cuter et maintenir en cons\xc3\xa9quence un plan de d\xc3\xa9veloppement des affaires avec l\'\xc3\xa9quipe des ventes en faisant la promotion de l\'offre.
  • En collaboration avec le Vice-pr\xc3\xa9sident de la ligne d\'affaires, fournir des fonctions de soutien professionnel aux comptes d\'entreprise sp\xc3\xa9cifiques telles que la n\xc3\xa9gociation de contrats, la s\xc3\xa9lection de produits, les conditions g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rales, l\'administration des contrats, les prix et les programmes d\'incitation, etc.
  • Assurer la satisfaction des clients et la r\xc3\xa9solution rapide des plaintes en interagissant avec les autres d\xc3\xa9partements.
  • \xc3\x89valuer les tendances de l\'industrie, la concurrence, les commentaires des clients et d\xc3\xa9velopper ou ajuster la strat\xc3\xa9gie marketing en cons\xc3\xa9quence.

Supervision de projet
  • Coordonner et planifier l\'ex\xc3\xa9cution des travaux effectu\xc3\xa9s par les diff\xc3\xa9rents sous-traitants.
  • Superviser le travail pour s\'assurer qu\'il est termin\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 temps, dans les limites du budget et avec une grande qualit\xc3\xa9.
  • Adh\xc3\xa9rer aux politiques et normes de l\'organisation relatives aux pratiques environnementales, \xc3\xa0 la sant\xc3\xa9 et \xc3\xa0 la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9, au recyclage, \xc3\xa0 la durabilit\xc3\xa9 et \xc3\xa0 l\'assurance qualit\xc3\xa9.
Ventes et soutien aux ventes

Exigences
  • Minimum de 3 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience pertinente dans des r\xc3\xb4les tels que la gestion de produits, les ventes ou le d\xc3\xa9veloppement commercial.
  • Solide connaissance de l\'installation de compresseurs, assemblage et de conteneurs
  • Solide connaissance des syst\xc3\xa8mes d\'air comprim\xc3\xa9 et exp\xc3\xa9rience dans l\'industrie manufacturi\xc3\xa8re.
  • Excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication interpersonnelle pour s\'engager efficacement avec les clients et les coll\xc3\xa8gues.
  • Ma\xc3\xaetrise de la production de rapports et de pr\xc3\xa9sentations, ainsi que de l\'animation de sessions de formation.
  • Ma\xc3\xaetrise de l\'anglais oral et \xc3\xa9crit (la ma\xc3\xaetrise du fran\xc3\xa7ais serait un avantage).
  • Volont\xc3\xa9 de voyager au Canada au besoin \xc3\xa0 des fins professionnelles.
  • Admissibilit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 travailler au Canada.
  • Une formation en g\xc3\xa9nie ou dans un domaine technique connexe serait consid\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9e comme un atout.
