Business Development & Sales Representative
to join our team on a
commission-based
structure.
This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives on generating leads, securing contracts, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals to increase sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively seek new business opportunities in construction, landscaping, and commercial sectors.
Identify and secure contracts for concrete supply, installations, and specialty product sales.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize revenue growth.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and site visits.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and project managers.
Present Roctek's products and services effectively to potential clients.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of service.
Follow up with leads, manage client accounts, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Track and report on sales activities and business development efforts.
Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences as needed.
Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum
2+ years
of experience in business development or sales (construction industry experience preferred).
Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to read site drawings and take measurements (an asset but not required).
Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Valid
Class 5 Driver's License
with a clean driver's abstract.
Willingness to travel within Creston, BC, and surrounding areas as required.
Knowledge of
Verti-block, retaining walls, and insulated concrete form products
is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $59,180.00-$85,000.00 per year
