We are seeking a talented and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our recruitment staffing agency in Canada. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing our business and expanding our client base through effective sales strategies and relationship building.

  • Duration:
    Contract 3 months | opportunity or strong likelihood for an extension.
  • Location: Full-remote, Toronto
  • Equipment: We expect you to have your own workplace

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to attract potential clients for our recruitment staffing agency.
  • Meeting with potential clients to understand their needs, propose solutions, and negotiate terms of business.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Identifying opportunities for expansion and growth in the market, including potential expansion into the US market.
  • Finding ways to become a vendor in banking organizations, including top banks, and enrolling into their Vendor Management System.
  • Keeping up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to ensure the business remains competitive and responsive to changing client needs.
  • Providing regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including the recruitment and operations teams, to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
  • Representing the company at networking events and industry conferences to promote the business and establish new connections.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SDR or BDR, preferably in the staffing industry.
  • Strong sales track record, focusing on building and maintaining relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Knowledge of banking organizations and their vendor management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally and potentially internationally as required.
