Our client is a Canadian-based tech company, and developer of a deal management platform which is designed to change the landscape of real estate investing for both investors and managers. What was once a tedious manual process for real estate investors and managers has been completely redesigned to help manage portfolios and help both managers and investors efficiently access the appropriate capital for projects by tapping into networks beyond their traditional avenues. Their solution helps streamline how teams work and improve their investment decision with AI-powered data and insights.

As the company continues to grow, they are looking to add its first Business Development Representative to the team!

The Position:

  • Develop new outbound and inbound prospecting strategies while owning multiple steps within the sales cycle, you will be responsible for ensuring prospects are contacted, engaged and educated
  • Study real-time trends, stats and intel on what the commercial real estate investors want and need in order to reach the targeted customer base
  • Identify, target, and develop prospective accounts and then craft and deploy personalized email campaigns
  • Identifying and connecting with real estate investors, promoting solutions, to successfully quality leads for the Account Executive team
  • Conduct high-level consultative conversations with large, enterprise businesses in the real estate investment space
  • Prioritize and organize your pipeline for maximum efficiency in order to meet quarterly sales objectives

About You:
  • Minimum 6 months experience in BDR role (property technology or real estate experience is a bonus)
  • You adapt quickly to change and are equipped with a steadfast growth mindset with the opportunity to become a leader within a year
  • You are a problem solver; you like to use your knowledge to help people overcome challenges.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • strong organizational and follow-up skills and work well in a team environment
  • Open to a hybrid working environment at the downtown Toronto office
  • Thrive in an autonomous environment and don't mind not having it all figured out
  • Self-starter who knows how to prioritize and problem solve
  • Experience working across teams in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Compensation: $60k-$70k base salary + commissions = $100k OTE (uncapped) + equity
