CAPEX CONNECT is seeking a self-motivated Business Development Representative based in Montreal to cover the Montreal region. CAPEX CONNECT creates group buying opportunities for construction equipment purchasers. We have a strong base of participating construction and rental companies in Ontario and are now expanding across Canada. There is no cost to join CAPEX CONNECT and no obligation to participate in CAPEX CONNECT group buys. Companies can choose the CAPEX CONNECT deals they wish to participate in. The successful candidate will have responsibility for meeting with Owners or Fleet/Equipment Managers of construction and rental companies in the Montreal region and presenting the CAPEX CONNECT opportunity to them. We will provide a list of researched prospects in the region, bilingual sales literature and in-person training. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in equipment sales to construction and rental companies, outstanding in-person cold-calling skills and will be able to present fluently in both French and English. This is a 3 month position and may have the potential to continue for additional months. Flexibility for a 3, 4 or 5 day work week. The position is ideally suited to a person who is semi-retired from a construction equipment sales career in the Montreal market. Must have own reliable car. A $0.55 per kilometer mileage allowance will be paid. You will provide your own computer, scanner, home internet connection and mobile phone. No overnight travel required. Compensation is hourly rate plus bonus based on number of companies you sign as CAPEX CONNECT members. Target total compensation is $6,000 per month (based on 5 day work week) with opportunity for overachievement, plus car mileage allowance. You will be paid as an independent contractor. Over 1000 companies are Members of our groups and we have business relationships with over 500 Supplier Partners. Our marketing teams work closely with our Members to build their business with our Suppliers and, as a result, increase the profitability of the Members.
