Job Description


We are currently looking for an experienced salesperson for building relationships and closing sales. While we are a laboratory-based company and a background in the sciences, technology or laboratory would be helpful, it is unnecessary. Instead, we are looking for experienced, extremely professional, independent, goal-oriented good communicators who are successful in building relationships and thrive in a fast-paced consultative sales environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Working independently to develop, research, qualify, prospect, and close sales through the entire sales cycle across a wide variety of scientific disciplines and technologies
  • Interact by phone with a multitude of high-level laboratory executives and management including by scheduling meetings
  • Having a familiarity with Sales CRMs to enter information about sales communication.
  • Communicating with past, present, and future customers in an effective manner to troubleshoot concerns and maintain relationships with customers to renew registrations, introduce upgrades, and sell new products as introduced.
  • Having a sales hunter mentality to ferret out matches between our requestors needing laboratory products and services and the laboratories.
  • Interacting in a team manner by assisting with sales, marketing and business development, client support and IT team\'s goals and projects as necessary
  • Submitting sales metrics and reports to management
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Advertising, Sales, Marketing, Account management or a related field
  • While a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a Scientific or Technical Discipline is preferred, it is not necessary. However, the individual must be open and enthusiastic about learning the verbiage associated with laboratories.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in sales and marketing, advertisement experience is preferred
  • Our clients are very high-level, so you must have the ability to communicate well and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • The individual will be required to work from home, so they must be disciplined and have demonstrated success at working independently and have a healthy at-home office
