We help Canadian business owners integrate tax, estate/trust, insurance, and investment strategy--properly. Your job is to
open doors and orchestrate relationships
so our advisors can do what they do best: deliver high-quality, conflict-free advice. This is a
relationship + execution
role (not a sales-rep job and not an advisor role).
What you'll do (outcomes, not fluff):
Targeted Prospecting:
Proactively identify and engage
business owners and high-net-worth individuals
through curated networking, industry associations, events, LinkedIn, and community involvement.
Warm Lead Generation:
Build genuine initial relationships, qualify fit, and position the firm's value proposition clearly. Book introductory meetings with the lead advisor for deeper planning conversations.
Professional Ecosystem Development:
Build a strong network of
accountants, lawyers, CFOs, and professional associations
to drive consistent, high-quality referrals.
Event Strategy:
Design and execute quarterly lunch-and-learns, roundtables, and exclusive gatherings for business owners and COIs.
Pipeline Orchestration:
Maintain and report on a clean pipeline of warm leads, tracking conversion rates from first contact to booked meetings.
Client Engagement Support:
Coordinate periodic client appreciation and relationship-building initiatives to deepen loyalty and referrals.
You are (must-haves):
5+ years in
business development/partnerships for professional services
(law, accounting, private banking/wealth, consulting, B2B partnerships).
Comfortable in rooms with partners, CFOs, founders;
polished, credible, zero-pushiness
.
Obsessively organized; you run events and follow-ups on rails.
Strong writer and communicator; confident on LinkedIn and in email.
Understands financial-services boundaries
(you won't give advice; you'll set the table so advisors can).
Based in
Metro Vancouver
; willing to attend local events and occasional evening functions.
Nice-to-haves:
Prior experience nurturing
COIs
in wealth/insurance/accounting/legal.
Exposure to estate/trust, corporate insurance, or private banking.
Additional languages are a plus for our community work.
Compensation:
Competitive base (commensurate with experience)
+ KPI-based bonus
tied to booked meetings, qualified opportunities, event execution, and COI activity. (No commission on specific transactions; role is non-advisory and compliance-friendly.)
Schedule & location:
Vancouver, BC. Part time for the first 3 months.
How we'll measure success (first 90 days):
Month 1: COI map created; 10+ COI intros scheduled; Q1 lunch-and-learn locked.
Month 2: 6-10
booked first meetings
with qualified prospects from events/COIs.
Month 3: Repeatable cadence in place; pipeline report delivered bi-weekly.
To apply (stand out fast):
Attach a short note (?200 words) on
one event/partnership you built
