BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR (1-YEAR CONTRACT)

Responsibilities




The Business Development & Partnerships Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Bento's continued growth across its retail and commissary channels. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and takes pride in executing with accuracy and efficiency. The Coordinator will support the Business Development & Partnerships team with project coordination, product listings, data management, partner communications, and reporting.

Support the Director and Manager of Business Development in executing partnership initiatives & growth projects Prepare and update product listing documentation, cost change forms, and promotional activity schedules. List new products on partner platforms (e.g., GS1, vendor portals), ensuring all product, pricing, and digital asset information is complete and accurate. Oversee scanning and product launch accuracy. Resolving issues quickly in collaboration with partners and internal teams Maintain partner promotional calendars and confirm details and scheduling with stakeholders Coordinate the execution of promotional programs with cross-functional teams to ensure timely rollout Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing communications, issue resolution, and escalations Gather and summarize sales, production, and performance data for internal reporting and partner meetings Prepare presentations, business performance reports, and meeting decks for internal and external stakeholders Facilitate communication between Business Development, Operations, and Commissary teams to ensure smooth implementation of product or program updates Support administrative workflows tied to production updates, pricing requests, and partner communications Participate in weekly recap and alignment meetings, providing updates on progress and open issues Organize materials for recurring meetings, capturing action items and next steps Maintain shared files and ensure version control across all business development documentation Assist in compiling data for business performance reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in Business Administration & Commerce 1-3 years of experience in business coordination, account support, or administrative roles ideally in foodservice, retail, or CPG environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word). Experience with CRM systems, ERP software, or partner/product data portals (e.g., GS1) is an asset. Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with a hands-on attitude and a willingness to learn. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment. Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
