Job Overview
We're seeking a
Business Development & Operations Manager
to lead and grow our Bulk Highway Belt Division. This division specializes in highway hauling of bulk commodities, including organic food, grains, GSPs, potash, coal, and other bulk products. There is also potential for expansion into pneumatic bulk tankers for hauling.Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day highway trucking operations, including dispatch and freight brokering. Drive business development and grow highway belt trailer operations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Monitor fleet performance, costs, and operational metrics. Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and support staff.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in
highway bulk trucking operations
. Strongsales and business development skills
. Knowledge ofbelt trailers, bulk hauling, and commodity logistics
. Experience withdispatch, logistics, and freight brokering
. Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Valid driver's license; willingness to travel as needed.We Offer:
