Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and developing strategic partnerships. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth through prospecting and cold calls
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Create and implement strategic business development plans that align with company goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients to secure profitable deals.
• Utilize Salesforce and other tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales performance.
Skills
• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the logistics industry
• "Hunter" mindset - ability to prospect and cold-call to build a book of business
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
• Experience with Salesforce is considered an asset
