Job Description

We are looking for an up and coming sales leader who is hungry and eager to make an impact. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for helping a team of Business Development Representatives generate new sales opportunities in key and emerging markets. This team plays a critical role in ensuring the success of its customers and the lead will help guide them to success.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Build a pipeline of leads and help team members keep a healthy pipeline
• Pitch decision makers in key and emerging markets via email, cold calling, and social media outreach
• Be responsible for close your own deals and helping team members close theirs
• Develop outreach strategies and pitches for different markets and verticals
• Identify and develop new markets and verticals
• Close warm leads generated at trade shows and conferences
• Assist the Sales Manager in coaching and training team members to help them achieve their full potential

What you\'ll need to be successful:

Must haves:

• Minimum 1 year in a team leadership position
• Previous experience in client-facing digital media including, but not limited to, online advertising, media buying, affiliate marketing, or account management
• Familiarity with online pricing models - CPM, CPC, CPA, etc.
• Understanding of programmatic advertising and the digital advertising ecosystem
• Strong understanding of digital media sales and publishing
• Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment
• Self-motivated, competitive, results-oriented, and responds strongly to incentives
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
• A minimum of technical understanding regarding HTML and webmaster analytic tools

Nice to Haves:

• The Trade Desk certification, Google Ads certification
• Salesforce experience
