As part of this role, you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing business opportunities with commercial clients across various sectors. You will work closely with a team of experts and lead the development of solar energy solutions that not only support financial savings but contribute significantly to sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:



Territory Management & Expansion:

Take full ownership of a designated territory, strategically targeting and developing relationships with property managers, operations managers, building owners, municipalities, universities, school boards, and developers.

Business Development & Client Acquisition:

Utilize your strong consultative sales skills to identify potential clients, generate leads, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.

Sales Strategy & Presentations:

Deliver impactful, client-specific presentations that articulate the financial and environmental advantages of solar energy solutions. Build rapport and influence key decision-makers across commercial sectors.

Collaborative Solution Design:

Work closely with technical teams to design customized solar solutions that meet client needs, ensuring seamless execution from initial inquiry to final installation.

Incentive & Financial Guidance:

Provide expert guidance to clients on available financial incentives, funding programs, and the benefits of transitioning to renewable energy.

Contract Negotiation & Management:

Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts, ensuring a smooth sales process and client satisfaction.

Client Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring continuous engagement and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:



5+ Years of Business Development Experience:

Proven track record in managing a sales territory, preferably in consultative sales within B2B sectors such as commercial real estate, education, municipalities, or energy solutions.

Strong Consultative Sales Background:

Ability to engage and influence decision-makers at senior levels. Experience selling to property managers, operations managers, building owners, municipalities, and large-scale developers is essential.

Proven Success in Business Development:

Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a history of generating new business and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Exceptional Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, communicate complex ideas, and manage client expectations effectively.

Highly Organized & Results-Oriented:

Skilled at managing multiple accounts, tracking sales progress, and delivering on targets while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Team-Oriented & Collaborative:

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solar solutions and exceptional client experiences.

Valid Driver's License:

Access to reliable transportation for client visits and territory management.

Pay: $60,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
