Join us in making Absorb history!" - Kim Brown, VP, Business DevelopmentAbout the role:Absorb is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead and develop our team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) as we continue to build our outbound sales motion. At Absorb LMS, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by overseeing the identification and qualification of outbound opportunities.Leveraging your leadership skills, strategic mindset, and sales expertise, you will mentor and guide your team to engage with prospects, create interest, and showcase the advantages of our Learning Management Solution.Reporting to the VP of Business Development, your responsibilities include adopting and maintaining a robust prospecting framework, executing multi-touch campaigns, and enhancing pre-call planning processes. Your management and strategic direction will be essential in exceeding sales quotas and driving new bookings within assigned territories. Join us in shaping the future of learning solutions and be a key leader in Absorb LMS\'s success.What you\'ll do:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BDRs, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.Oversee the sourcing of new leads through innovative outbound methods, demonstrating creativity in prospecting.Guide the team in creating and identifying high-quality opportunities by discovering and qualifying outbound leads.Ensure the team effectively communicates the Absorb value proposition to new prospects.Drive the team to consistently achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals for calls, emails, and prospecting with a proactive outreach approach.Set and attain weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline goals, ensuring leads are qualified to appropriate criteria for overall sales success.Develop and execute strategic call plans and account plans, collaborating with the account team for collective success.Identify and engage with sales opportunities, demonstrating a strong understanding of various industry issues and the role of an LMS.Maintain and ensure accurate CRM tool updates with client information, actively participating in team meetings and projects to improve processes and drive sales output.What you\'ll bring:3-5 years of experience in a related sales role, with at least 1-2 years in a management/coaching position.Proven ability to lead a team, demonstrating strong motivational and coaching skills. Also has a strong ability take direction from the leaders and contribute across the organization.Excellent adaptability to change and the ability to switch priorities effectively.Strong resilience to handle objections and rejections daily, and to inspire the same in the team.Proficient in conducting detailed data analyses and using metrics to drive business results.Very strong verbal and written communication skills.Interested in long-term career opportunities in SaaS sales.Technologies we use:
