ROLE: BDM Metro & Sobeys QC
REPORTS TO: Sales Director East
LOCATION: Montreal or Toronto
We are looking for a bilingual BDM Metro & Sobeys QC to join our Sales team! The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in the growth and profitability of Earth's Own. For the assigned customers, this individual will lead the development and execution of Earth's Own annual sales plan, is accountable to achieve sales plan and trade spend targets, and build strong customer relationships.

This includes building strong customer relationships and influencing retailer strategies and tactics in an evolving and exciting category! Your top priority will be to deliver your annual sales plan. This includes ensuring distribution across our product base, strong promotional plans, and flawless execution on new products. You will have the autonomy to build strategies which deliver against your sales and trade spend objectives. An analytical approach and bias for action will be critical to achieving your objectives and leaving your imprint on the business!

Youhave highly proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, AC Nielsen, and Customer data portals (ie, IRI)
•Experience •
You have at least 5 years of experience in a CPG sales role, ideally in food/beverage category
You have 3+ years in a key account role in the food/beverage category
You have experience working directly with assigned customers (Metro, Sobeys and others)
You have experience in Natural/Organic categories
You have a relevant Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Business

Develops and implements a sales strategy for growing sales with national chains and major brokers. Works with customers to understand their strategies and integrates them with the Company strategy
Prepares execution strategies including proposing hypotheses and monitoring performance against those
Furthers the development, sales, and promotion of food/beverage products and builds brand loyalty, with the national chains and major brokers
Builds effective promotional plans with national chain customer
Develops sales reporting tools for internal use {for analysis) and external use {in retail presentations): AC Nielsen, internal sales figures and customer data
Prepares expense reports and submits on time. Monitors expenses against budget

You have the ability to travel (5-10% of time)

Pay: $87,000.00-$106,000.00 per year
