To support this, we are currently looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Coordinator to join the team. This is a permanent opportunity located at our Head Office in Paradise, NL. In this role, the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to support the senior leadership team and will play a pivotal role in executing our growth strategies. As Business Development Coordinator, you will be involved in all business unit operations meaning broad exposure to our markets across the country. Taking an investigative approach, you will use various resources to gather information relevant to the business, present opportunities to the leadership team, and assist in executing the agreed upon strategies. We are seeking an inquisitive, organized, and detail focused individual who delivers informative and relevant information through independent research techniques. You are aware of emerging industry trends and take an analytical approach to understanding the impact and opportunities they provide. You enjoy working in the background, generating leads, and providing timely and accurate information to assist with the business development process. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities. Provide effective administrative support to senior management as it relates to business development initiatives. Collect and maintain client information, including details gathered during outreach such as upcoming projects and opportunities. Coordinate and arrange client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences in collaboration with Corporate Affairs. Write and distribute agendas and briefing documents for internal and external meetings. Assist with drafting sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required. Provide management with industry insights and leads related to their business operations, current clients and potential clients. Assist with the development and implementation of business development strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 1-3 years of professional experience. Experience utilizing graphic design software is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Takes initiative and has a proactive attitude. Strong problem-solving abilities, taking a creative but practical approach. Ability to prioritize and manage workload with high attention to detail. Strong technical skills and comfortable learning and adapting to new software systems. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff and clients.
