Business Development (Client Acquisition) Manager

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager who lives and breathes client acquisition. Someone who knows how to identify opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and close deals with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Pipeline Growth
Identify, pursue, and qualify new B2B business opportunities across industries such as e-commerce and professional services.
Own the full sales cycle: outreach ? discovery ? strategy alignment ? proposal ? negotiation ? close.
Actively prospect using LinkedIn, email outreach, networking, events, referrals, and industry communities.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Build and execute strategic account acquisition plans that align with MADHUB's service offerings.
Develop tailored proposals and pitches that reflect client needs and objectives.
Maintain a healthy, forward-looking pipeline with accurate forecasting.
Relationship Development
Build authentic, long-term relationships with decision-makers (Founders, CMOs, Directors, Ops Leads).
Position MADHUB as a trusted partner through professional, value-driven interactions.
Act as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries and warm referrals.
Identify and cultivate partnerships with other B2B organizations that serve similar clients, positioning MADHUB as a trusted referral partner and expanding our market reach.
Market Intelligence
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging marketing technologies.
Identify white-space opportunities and recommend new verticals, services, or approaches.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with internal creative, ads, technical, and leadership teams to understand capabilities and shape proposals.
Track all activity using CRM tools, keeping notes and pipeline stages up to date.
Report weekly on performance, pipeline health, objectives, wins, and learnings.
Experience/Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Executive, or Client Acquisition roles, ideally within a digital marketing, creative, advertising, SaaS, or agency environment.
A proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong consultative sales skills: discovery, scoping, solution-building, objection handling, and closing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills - polished, confident, and persuasive.
Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, etc.).
Highly self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a passion for growth.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote-first environment.
Nice to Have
Experience selling marketing retainers, creative services, paid ads management, CRO, SEO, or technical development services.
Familiarity with e-commerce, Shopify, and DTC brand ecosystems.
Existing network within marketing, tech, or startup communities.
