As ATB's next Business Coordinator, you are a part of the Underwriting & Sales Support senior leadership team and will be responsible for providing specialized support primarily to the Associate Vice President, Underwriting & Sales Support, within the ATB Business Banking. This position also supports 25 leaders within the business unit with various requests, as well as managing the administrative functions of the group in a fast paced environment with constant shifting priorities. We are looking for someone who loves nothing more than delivering exceptional service to their leaders and team and someone who takes pride in being able to build strong relationships that encourage collaboration and teamwork.

You will find success based on your ability to:

  • Create a wow experience for all team members by anticipating needs and collaborating to solve business problems.
  • Assist in onboarding of new team members including training, securing IT assets and following the ATB's myStart program.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills that you will use when preparing a variety of correspondence of a diverse nature and sometimes highly confidential nature, including letters, emails, reports and presentations for audiences at all levels in the organization.
  • Organize providing coordination and administrative support to the team by managing administrative activities including calendars, team operational items such as technology requests, distribution lists, resources and preparing the teams for various internal and external meetings.
  • Enjoy making things balance and reconciling, which is great, as you will be responsible for reviewing expenses and invoices, coding, submitting for payment while keeping an eye on the applicable budgets.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work with several different teams, effectively managing your time and balancing multiple, sometimes changing, priorities.
  • Be known as approachable, collaborative and agile. You look for opportunities to work together with others with an eye towards finding efficiencies. You have a reputation for being extremely professional, delivering exceptional customer service, all while having fun doing it!
  • Have a solid knowledge of business rules, processes and policies and use this to make recommendations for identifying opportunities and solutions.
  • Be valued by your colleagues and customers as the knowledgeable go to person who finds answers, delivers smart, simple and helpful solutions and finds a way to get things done accurately and on time.
  • Be the "glue" that holds the team together. You take care of all day to day team logistics. You are the point person for team communications and coordinating team member "life events" such as welcoming new members, celebrating milestones and creating an amazing customer and team member experience.
Requirements:

As the ideal candidate you possess:
  • Minimum 3+ years previous experience in an administration role
  • Degree in Business or other related field of study is preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Strong oral and written business communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to build impactful relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
