Position Summary:

The Student - Electric Vehicle Network Coordinator, is responsible for providing exceptional support to the EV Charging function in the Corporate Development department of Parkland, for the 4-month term. As a member of the EV Charging team, you will assist with the day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, monitoring and responding to communications and feedback from internal and external EV stakeholders including, third-party applications. The Student - Electric Vehicle Coordinator will support the reporting of customer experience analytics, as well as the marketing, budgeting, and getting purchase orders. The Student - Electric Vehicle Network Coordinator will also be responsible for providing support with special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and responding to communications and feedback from internal and external EV stakeholders, including third party applications such as PlugShare and ChargeHub.
  • Reviewing and reporting on the condition and customer experience at existing charging locations.
  • Preparing and coordinating educational, marketing, and support materials for delivery to upcoming EV deployment locations.
  • Creating and providing analysis on existing network utilization reporting.
  • Leading submission and execution of highway signage requests in proximity to our locations.
  • Assisting with budget tracking and purchase orders.
  • Special projects as determined by the extended EV team.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • You are available for a 4-month term beginning on or around January of 2023
  • You are currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution working towards a bachelor's degree with a focus on Business and in the 3rd or 4th year of your program.
  • You have a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and possess natural leadership as demonstrated in academic and/or extracurricular activities
  • You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills to enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment
  • You are a creative and analytical thinker with some project management skills who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • You have tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit, and are passionate about seeking out win-win solutions
  • You have strong MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • You will be part of a global team and must be able to work effectively through a high degree of collaboration and communication through in-person meetings and video conferences.
