Change Management Lead \xe2\x80\x93 Contract position in Burnaby (Hybrid):
On behalf of our client in Burnaby, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for an Business Architect with our client for a 12 month contract opportunity.

Role Description:
The Business Architect will plan, implement and lead the IMT business architecture practice. You will also develop business architecture to align strategic technologies to business capabilities and value opportunities. Will collect information on our business and map domains (including capabilities, value streams, information, and organization) according to the business architecture framework.

Responsibilities:

• Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy. Apply and utilize business modeling methods to ensure results-oriented deliverables
• Create business architecture models demonstrating how products, operations and systems interoperate within the organization.
• Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training and/or software procurement.
• Ensure solutions developed across the organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (costs and benefits)
• Lead Senior Management through the development of a business architecture plan for the line of business. Evaluate and present information that will facilitate effective and timely decision making through written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize finds with recommendations.
• Reviewing, analyzing, evaluating ideas, projects, and opportunities to develop new products, new technologies and business models for the business segments.
• Leads the effort to work with business leaders to identify business capability needs and prioritization
• Leads the effort to identify and document capability and initiative needs and strategic prioritization into business architecture deliverables (roadmaps etc).
• Provide architectural oversight of projects, ensure requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a business architect working on planning and analysis.
• 3 to 5 years of experience participating in change management and training.
• A recognized degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation
• Strong understanding of how business requirements are gathered, analyzed, documented, and translated into technical specifications.
• Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate business/technical requirements and project schedules with a customer and other project team members.
• Results-oriented with strong people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated, and driven to succeed.
• Good judgment and the capacity to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimum course of action.
• Deals comfortably with senior management and can present and converse with people in positions of authority

Nice-to-have:

• Experience working for public agencies and/or social service organization
• Experience working in Construction, Housing, or Real-Estate industries
