Job Description


Overview

As a Business Analyst you will plan and conduct business studies to resolve moderately complex business problems and present solutions, resulting in new or improved products and services. You will provide production support for a full range of enterprise business applications including custom developed and packaged configurable applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and present solutions for moderately complex business problems by conducting business case analyses, cost/benefits analyses, and feasibility studies.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend new or improved solutions through research and investigation, fact-finding, analysis and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement detailed work plans to introduce new products and services while assisting in the development of the annual work plan for the department.
  • Implement new products and/or services in the capacity of project leader. Oversee or liaise in the development of associated procedures, documentation and training in the user areas.
  • Assist in quality assurance to ensure that the products/services meet all functional and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Management, Commerce, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Two \xe2\x80\x93 three years of related analytical experience conducting process analysis, documenting system and business requirements, and performing complex data analysis.
  • Intermediate communication skills (verbal, written and group presentation skills) with the ability to communicate complicated technical issues and solutions in a clear, concise and understandable manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Experience and knowledge in agile practices, scrums, and Kanban is an asset.
  • Experience providing production support to multiple applications is an asset.
