Job Description

Our client, who is in the Service industry, is seeking a strong Business Analyst with excellent formal requirement documentation exposure as well as testing experience and excellent presentation to assist their business consulting team. The role is going to be predominantly remote. Enclosed below are the responsibilities of the position.

- Lead large and complex transformative business initiatives involving system and process changes
- Regularly make informed decisions in complex situations from end-to-end, with limited direction from Business Solutions Group Leadership
- Identify, develop, document and execute testing strategies with acceptance criteria to validate business requirements
- Produce quality documents including business processes and controls, requirements and specifications, test plans, and user guides
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand existing processes and identify business needs
- Analyze business needs and translate into system solutions that align with organizational objectives
- Assess risk by identifying potential exposures and the volatility, likelihood, consequences, time horizon and correlation associated with the risk
- Support Project Managers and Business Solutions leadership throughout all phases of the project management lifecycle including prioritization, resource estimation and scheduling
- Work with team members and key stakeholders to coordinate dependencies across initiatives, ensuring all cross-functional requirements are delivered on time

- Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or Business Consultant is required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong technical acumen and demonstrated experience in data gathering, data analysis, data backfilling, testing and the creation of conceptual and logical models
- Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio and MS Project
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher is an asset
- CIP, CRM, CBAP and/or PMP designations are considered an asset
