Job Title: Application Production Support FA/Business Analyst
Location: Montreal, QC, Canada
Duration: 12 Months

Job Details:

• An expert in fund accounting activity, have a good understanding of NAV cycle, be able to lead analysis of figures at accounting level (be able to explain NAV variations), be familiar with classic financial products and derivatives.
• Be familiar with the different existing funds structures on the market, (multiclass funds, poolings, segment master structures, concept of share class hedging\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Be a-SME-with Multifonds software (Temenos) and Pcontrol (Milestone Group) to provide a high level of functional support or similar Fund accounting & Reconciliation software.
• Analysis and solving accounting and technical issues during production phases, raise change requests to the vendor, ensure the follow up of issues until the delivery of patch corrections.
• Understand prerequisites for accounting migrations and specific accounting events such as merger, split/change of currency of share classes.
• Contribute to maintain a very stable BAU to deliver NAV on time and match with the deadlines.

• Efficiency of the solution applied in production to solve issues.
• Testing of new Multifonds FA functionalities
• Proper Communications to Operational Users regarding item resolution and status.
• Internal Global Communication between Client IT and development teams
• The right application of SLA and fulfil Client IT duties.
• Sharing your expertise and knowledge with the team
• Applying the rules and the procedures
• Providing an added value to set efficient work around in BAU
• Avoiding recurring incidents

• Procedures and documentations related to the workarounds applied.

• Business degree or MBA in Finance
• 5 years of experience in production support activity for Fund accounting applications

• Team spirit requested \xef\x83\xa0Working in a good team spirit is a need to be able to work under pressure.
• Analytical skills \xef\x83\xa0 being familiar with figures of accounting reports and rules, including taxes figures.
• Communication skills \xef\x83\xa0 Expresses his/her messages, both orally and in writing, in an effective, organized way, which is appropriate to the audience being addressed.
• Autonomous being able to lead investigations to solve issues by mobilizing all resources/departments requested.
• Flexibility: be ready to be involved in late shift.
• Draws attention to useful information, risks and sensitive points.
• Client focus does everything possible to achieve internal or external customer satisfaction by identifying the customer\'s needs and providing them with the appropriate solution.

• Basic Oracle SQL / PL-SQL,
• Proficiency in ACCESS & EXCEL
• Business skills

• Good knowledge of Mutual Funds industry. Knowledge on fund accounting software (Multifonds FA/WEM or pControl or similar software)
• English and French are required.
