Reporting to the Supervisor of Project Services, the Business Analyst will support the Engineering team by supporting project planning and working with business resources for project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business goals, objectives, and project value to effectively work with subject matter experts and business users to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Work with business to identify, understand and document the current state organization structure and business processes.
  • Work with business and 3rd party experts to understand, assess and document the future state target operating model and business processes.
  • Understand the differences between current and future state to support business transformation.
  • Collaborate with IT resources for inclusion and documentation of non-functional technical requirements.
  • Understand and validate the proposed technical solution against business requirements.
  • Define and document business use cases.
  • Support business testing of projects solution (e.g. test scripts, user acceptance testing, parallel testing, etc. as required).
Qualifications:
  • Business Analyst certification.
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience in a Business Analyst role.
  • University degree or diploma in Engineering, Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Business, Science or Economics.
  • Proven ability to interface with both IT and Business (office and field) personnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
