The bigger picture

We're looking for a motivated and skilled communicator to come on board as our Business Analyst, Core Banking. In this position you will support optimization of banking system capability for end-users by leading a variety of processes and projects for enhancements and upgrades as it relates to our core banking system.

How you'll be spending your time

  • Providing tier 2 support for all Conexus employees on specified banking solutions technical issues and business operations
  • Resourcing and/or leading core banking product enhancements, special projects, and key initiatives
  • Investigate, understand and analyze organizational needs
  • Identifying feasible solutions, documenting recommended requests for decision-making authorities
  • Collaborating with internal developers and/or vendors to support application development and/or implementation
  • Contributing development of applicable process and procedure documentation
  • Supporting internal partners' ongoing knowledge and understanding of core banking system by collaboratively ensuring processes and procedures are documented
  • Supporting internal partners through the provision of tier 2 problem resolution on core banking technical issues and business operations

The experience you bring
  • 5 years' experience in a retail operations role in a financial institution or equivalent field
  • Knowledge and application of project management methodologies
  • Training and experience in requirements and functional design facilitation and documentation, including modeling tools and methods
  • Experience managing quality assurance functions within a project lifecycle, including the creation of test strategy, test plans from requirements and design documentation, test scripts and issue and resolution processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Visio/is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with core banking system
