Business Analyst

Are you looking to make a big impact and exercise your analytical skills?

As a business analyst you will work closely with management and stakeholders to develop dashboards that increase our inventory and operational efficiency. You will also be heavily involved with supporting a diverse set of internal tools that are key to Best Buy Business running smoothly.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Act as subject matter expert for Best Buy Business inventory. Work with management and other departments to provide inventory reporting and make inventory forecast recommendations.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards used by management and sales team members to support decision making in all areas of the business.
• Support internal operational tools using database tables, Excel VB coding, and other scripting languages along with suggesting and implementing new solutions.
• Review business processes, KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, explore improvement opportunities, and recommend action plans.
• Maintain, distribute, and improve reporting provided to both internal and external partners.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• 1+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with SQL query design/optimization and data modelling
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (formulas and VB scripting)
• Dashboarding and Data Visualization (Power BI or Tableau)
• Previous experience in a B2B sales organization
• Inventory Management and Logistics experience
• Prior experience with Salesforce dashboards and reporting
