MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

SUPERVISOR FLEET SERVICES

JOB PURPOSE:

The Bus Washer with Coach Canada reports to the Wash Bay Supervisor and the primary function is related to the cleaning and fueling of company and customer vehicles. The Bus Washer is responsible for always maintaining the high-quality cleanliness of our vehicles and compliance with our Company Safety Policy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Refuels, checks and tops up when necessary, all fluid levels
• Maintains grounds and buildings in tidy condition
• Clean interior and exterior of buses and other vehicles as assigned using manual or mechanical devices
• Pick up parts from suppliers and pick up and drop off buses
• Required to back fill vacancies and absences as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must meet the physical requirements for significant standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling.
• Must have the ability to lift articles up to 50 lbs.

Hours of Work: Varying shift work including weekends, evenings, nights and days as required

• MUST be able to work night shifts

• MUST possess a valid and unrestricted Class B or D Ontario Drivers License with a \xe2\x80\x9cZ\xe2\x80\x9d air brake endorsement and a driving record that demonstrates safe driving behaviour
• Wiliness to undertake further training such as Forklift, First Aid, CPR, WHMIS
• Requires knowledge of the proper use, storage and handling and control of cleaning products.
• Capable of obtaining certification as a TSSA Site Operator (minor maintenance on our equipment, site management procedures and code requirements)
