Job Description

Cabot Ford Lincoln, in St. John\'s NL, is one of Atlantic Canada\'s leading automotive dealerships. We are seeking a Building/Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to play a key role in supporting our high standards. This is a non-janitorial position. Duties:

• Overseeing the overall maintenance of our dealership facility to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Supervising a range of upkeep tasks, directly influencing our customers\' first impressions and the operational efficiency of the dealership.
• Managing the maintenance schedule and coordinating with various departments.
• Ensuring the dealership grounds and surrounding areas are well-maintained.
• Supervising maintenance staff and delegating tasks appropriately.
• Implementing preventative maintenance measures.
• Taking on additional responsibilities, including snow-clearing, to keep our facilities safe and functional during winter months.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated maturity and responsibility, with the capability to manage diverse maintenance tasks.
• Availability for a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for additional snow-clearing hours in winter.
• A clean letter of conduct and a positive track record.
• Experience in building and grounds maintenance or related fields is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Must possess a valid driver\'s license and have reliable transportation.
• Prior experience within a dealership environment is an asset, though not mandatory.

Compensation:

• A starting annual salary of $50,000.
• Extra compensation for snow-clearing duties outside of regular hours.
• A company demonstration vehicle may be available for personal use, subject to certain terms and conditions.
