Position Overview



We are seeking a

Building Restoration Foreman

to lead and supervise on-site crews in the execution of building restoration projects. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in concrete, brickwork, waterproofing, and general restoration methods. The Foreman will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily on-site restoration activities. Lead a crew of workers in tasks such as concrete repair, balcony restoration, masonry, caulking, waterproofing, and coatings. Interpret drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents. Monitor job progress and communicate updates to the Project Manager/Superintendent. Ensure work is carried out in compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines. Assist with material take-offs, deliveries, and inventory management on site. Train and mentor crew members, fostering a productive and respectful team environment. Identify and report issues or delays that may impact the project schedule or budget.

Qualifications



Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in building restoration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead hand role. Strong knowledge of restoration techniques including concrete patching, waterproofing, brick and stone repair, epoxy injection, and protective coatings. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Solid understanding of construction safety practices and experience enforcing them on site. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to various job sites across the GTA. Working at Heights, WHMIS, and other safety certifications are required (or willingness to obtain). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

10 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
