Location:

Hybrid - Markham, Cambridge, London, or Dundas, Ontario

Compensation:

$95,000 - $125,000 CAD (DOE) + Profit Sharing Bonus + 3 Weeks Vacation (+ 1 Week Closed at Christmas) + Mileage/Mobile Allowance + RRSP Matching + Health Spending Account + Other Perks

About the Role

Our client is seeking a

Project Manager

with 5-7 years of experience in

building restoration, building envelope, or capital planning projects

to join their growing consulting engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead projects for high-rise residential, commercial, and institutional clients while mentoring junior staff and expanding client relationships.

The successful candidate will manage projects from assessment through execution, carrying responsibility for client satisfaction, technical quality, budgets, and timelines. They can expect to manage projects in the

$50K-$500K

range, with exposure to larger projects up to

$10M

.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple restoration and capital planning projects simultaneously. Conduct and oversee

building condition assessments

, prepare detailed reports, and develop repair strategies. Review and approve technical deliverables, ensuring compliance with client expectations and specifications. Direct and mentor Project Associates and junior team members. Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications for successful project delivery. Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and drive projects forward. Contribute to proposals, client development, and future work identification.
What Our Client is Looking For

Education/Designation:

P.Eng preferred (or CET with strong consulting experience).

Experience:

5-7 years of progressive responsibility in building science, restoration, or engineering consulting. Proven ability to

mentor and guide junior staff

. Strong understanding of

Ontario Building Code, Tarion Guidelines, and condo/property standards

. Track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering projects in high-rise residential and commercial sectors. Strong technical writing and reporting skills. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (travel to client sites is required).
