Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and customer-focused Building Superintendent / Maintenance Person to manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our multi-unit residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep, safety, and functionality of the building, ensuring a high standard of living for our residents.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in property and/or facilities management Minimum 2 years plumbing, electrical, painting and drywall repairs experience Ability to perform general building repairs Ability to work flexible hours and weekends and be on call for emergencies

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.) Perform all aspects of suite turn-overs, including painting, and flooring repairs and installation Conduct regular building inspections and report any issues or safety concerns Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors and vendors when necessary Handle tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner Ensure building systems are running efficiently (boilers, water heaters, etc.) Enforce building rules and policies Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours when needed Perform building landscaping during spring and summer months
