Duties

Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform routine repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to avoid potential issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants, ensuring timely resolution of problems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities. Collaborate with external contractors for specialised repairs when necessary. Assist in the upkeep of outdoor areas, including landscaping and cleaning common spaces.

Experience

Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of general repair techniques, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance work. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and tenants.
