is one of our most exciting communities in Tillsonburg, and we're looking for someone with a big smile, a sharp eye for detail, and a knack for making things run like clockwork.
You will be working in tandem with Onyx Property Group and its sister division, Onyx Condo Management, one of southwestern Ontario's fast-growing property management firms.
The approach is to have an enjoyable leasing experience, treating prospects with respect and supporting them throughout the leasing process, from qualifying to approval.
As our
Building/Leasing Manager
you'll be the go-to person who keeps
HARVESTVIEW
looking great, running smoothly, and feeling like home. On any given day, you might:
Walk the building daily, spot anything that needs fixing and make sure it gets done.
Keep contractors (cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, fire safety) on schedule and deliver quality work.
Oversee unit turnovers, schedule trades, inspect work, and approve invoices.
Be the friendly enforcer of house rules and step up for after-hours issues on rotation.
Manage keys, FOBs, tools, and suppliers and program FOBs/intercom.
Support capital projects escort vendors, take progress pictures, and keep everyone informed.
Send a weekly building report to keep ownership in the loop.
Boost community spirit with events, newsletters, and creative resident engagement ideas (for example, a "Pet of the Month" feature).
Show available units, help applicants through the process, and ensure move-ins are seamless.
Jump in with leasing activities to assist with marketing available properties through online platforms, social media, and in-person showings.
Respond to all emails, phone calls, and website inquiries, providing general information and starting the pre-qualification process.
Ensure tablets are charged and working for prospects will use to registered and submit applications during open houses, ensure printed materials are on-site such as printed applications, brochures (and other marketing materials).
Scheduling, organizing, and facilitating suite and building tours, including any open houses to highlight key features to prospective tenants.
Process rental applications, document collection, background checks, and lease agreements under the direction of Onyx.
Serve as the first point of contact for the community, representing it with enthusiasm and dedication.
Ensure the management office is welcoming and inviting for all guests.
Participate in community events to engage with residents and prospective tenants.
Maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
Assist with addressing tenant concerns and coordinate resolutions in a timely manner.
Live On-Site or Off-Site -- Your Choice!
Prefer to be right where the action is, or would rather head home at the end of the day? This role gives you flexibility to choose the setup that works best for your lifestyle. Hours are typically Monday to Friday, dayshift with one evening a week until approximately 7:00 p.m
.
for resident needs. You'll also stay late for special events as scheduled and occasionally work on
Saturdays
for community activities. This is a full-time, 40 hour-per-weekposition.

Comfort with basic tech (FOBs, intercom systems, email, reporting tools).
Own reliable transportation.
Experience in property management, facilities, or customer service is a bonus however enthusiasm counts most!
