We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the leasing process, managing landlord and tenant relationships, and ensuring the property is marketed effectively. This role requires strong customer service skills, leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to negotiate favourable lease terms. The Leasing Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining high occupancy rates and fostering a positive living experience for residents.
Responsibilities
Manage the leasing process with the leasing agents from start to finish, including property showings, lease negotiations, and move-in coordination.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants to enhance customer satisfaction.
Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track leads, follow-ups, and tenant interactions.
Conduct market research to identify trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Ensure all leasing documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Utilize property management software such as Yardi for data entry, reporting, and tracking occupancy rates.
Maintain an organized office environment that supports efficient operations.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and tenants.
Proven ability to negotiate lease terms that benefit both the company and tenants.
Sales experience to effectively promote properties and close deals.
Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
Experience in property management or related fields is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
