Brewing Specialist
SALARY: $55,000 - $70,000
SHIFTS: 8:00am-4:00pm, Flexible schedule needed as site requires

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Team DevelopmentSupport and mentor the brewing team through targeted learning and development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Execute departmental strategy alongside team members while actively developing leadership capabilities within the front-line team
Cascade critical information from management to brewing team members, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all levels
Production Planning & CoordinationDevelop and monitor comprehensive production plans and inventory levels to meet scheduling demands and target objectives
Ensure achievement of production targets including correct volume, brand specifications, and on-time delivery--all within established quality parameters
Collaborate closely with Brewery Administration to manage department resources and track production jobs and inventory through SAP
Quality Management & ComplianceImplement and uphold company process and quality tools, including root cause analysis for continuous improvement
Maintain meticulous records of Brewhouse parameters and ensure accurate, complete HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) documentation
Participate actively in cross-functional task forces focused on advancing quality, safety, efficiency, and overall operational performance
Project ManagementDrive continuous improvement initiatives through effective project management and innovative problem-solving approaches
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Post-secondary qualification in Engineering, Science or Brewing or 3+ years professional brewing experience
Willingness to work irregular hours as required
1- 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
Must have basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of brewing equipment and process
Proficient knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel
SAP or equivalent ERP experience is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
