Job Description

Responsibilities:

:


Operate the Brewhouse; following recipes and ensuring overall quality of wort, handling and monitoring raw materials usage, taking regular samples and measurements Fermentation management; checking temperature, natural carbonation, gravity and pH; dry-hopping; transferring to ageing tanks Yeast management; following all procedures for harvesting, pitching, cell concentration and viability checks Operate the DE Filter; managing effective dosing rates, and completing monitoring checks and procedures Ensure Brewhouse/Cellar/Filtration and tanks CIP & sanitation, and Brewing area housekeeping is completed according to schedule Monitor utilities, such as brewing water usage, cleaning water usage, cooling system, steam and air pressure Assist with creation and maintenance of SOP's; maintain accurate records of activities Adhere to Health and Safety regulations Working as part of a team, regular and effective communication
40 hours per week - monthly shift rotation between morning, afternoon and nights. Additional shift allowance provided $3.50 PH nights and $1.00 PH afternoons



Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in brewery or degree/diploma in a relevant field is required Team player with good communication skills Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with ability to work independently Physically fit as part of work is standing, climbing stairs/ladder, cleaning and lifting/moving products; often in hot environment Available to work various shifts, with some overnights and weekends
