Summary

We are seeking a skilled Brewer/ Cellar Operator to join our team at Blood Brothers Brewing. In this role, you will be responsible for the brewing process, cellar work, and packaging assistance when needed, ensuring the production of high-quality beers that align with our brand's commitment to innovation and excellence. This position is vital to our mission of providing exceptional craft beer to our customers.

Responsibilities

Execute the brewing process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. Carry out CIP and sanitation of brewhouse, cellar, tanks, and packaging equipment. Execute all packaging operations, including canning, bottling, and kegging; assist with equipment setup, cleaning, basic maintenance, and keg washing. Monitor and record fermentation parameters (temperature, gravity, pH), perform dry hopping, transfers, and beer movements. Conduct regular quality control checks on beer samples throughout the brewing process. Package finished products for distribution while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to develop new beer recipes and improve existing ones. Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members across shifts.

Requirements

Previous brewery or packaging experience an asset (education in Brewing, Food Science, Biology, or related field considered). Strong attention to detail, organization, and sanitation practices. Physically able to lift 55+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a hot industrial setting. Mechanical knowledge is an asset for troubleshooting equipment issues. Forklift experience an asset. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, potentially including some weekends.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
