We're hiring an

Assistant Brewer

to support daily brewery operations. This role is split between:

Cellar & Packaging (2 days/week)

- helping with beer production, cleaning, and packaging

Deliveries (2 days/week)

- delivering our award-winning beer to local customers and accounts

What you'll be doing:

Assisting with cellar work including dry hopping, transfers, carbonation, and tank cleaning (CIP) Kegging beer, supporting canning days, and maintaining fridge organization Recording activities accurately in logs and brewery software (Ollie) Cleaning and sanitising tanks, kegs, hoses, and work areas to brewery standards Operating pallet jacks and handling materials safely Delivering beer locally in the brewery van, representing Patina Brewing with professionalism and courtesy Following all brewery safety and PPE requirements, including proper chemical handling Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs or delivery issues promptly

What we're looking for:

Valid

Class 5 Driver's Licence

with a clean driving record Available

Monday-Friday (9 AM - 5 PM)

with some flexibility for production days Serving It Right certificate (current) Physically able to lift and manoeuvre full kegs (58-75 kg / 130-165 lbs) safely Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team Basic computer literacy; experience with brewery software (like Ollie) is a plus.

Preferred:

Previous experience in a brewery or beverage production facility Mechanical experience
