Zeldens Deli & Desserts is looking for a Breakfast line cook to work in our kitchen at our restaurant in Toronto, ON.
We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Specifically, looking for a cook with breakfast experience. Pay rate based on candidates experience.
We are a family owned and operated restaurant with over 12 years of experience in the area.

Position Summary:
The Line cook is responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals according to our standards while maintaining a clean and orderly environment for other kitchen staff. The line cook will prepare dishes that other employees have prepared, following instructions given by the owner. This position requires excellent communication skills as you will be communicating with your teammates. Excellent customer service skills are required.Essential Duties:
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
Set up stations for menu preparation.
Prepare simple dishes directly from recipes as needed.
Undertake basic cooking duties such as mincing or cutting food, cleaning equipment, and roasting meat.
Keep kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain personal health and safety standards by being aware of dangerous food items and following safety procedures.'
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
