Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure guests enjoy a warm, welcoming breakfast experience by maintaining cleanliness, preparing food items, and providing excellent customer service. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality, food service, and guest satisfaction. Prior experience in food handling or restaurant settings is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards, including food presentation and portion control Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment Replenish food supplies and ensure all stations are stocked and organized throughout service hours Assist guests with inquiries, seating arrangements, and special requests to enhance their dining experience Operate POS systems for orders and payments using Micros POS or similar platforms Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, and beverages as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy breakfast hours

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation are advantageous Attention to cleanliness and detail in maintaining hygiene standards Excellent communication skills to assist guests courteously and professionally Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a hospitality environment
