JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Breakfast Attendant and Public Area cleaner

Scope: Welcomes guests and oversees food and beverage service for the daily breakfast offering. In additional responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of food service area.

Primary Responsibilities:

? Greet, welcome and interact with our guests in a professional, friendly manner as they enter the food service area. ? Stock and refill/refresh the breakfast service, presenting a clean and fresh offering ensuring brand standards and health & safety requirements are met ? Accommodates special needs and requests from our valued guests. ? Maintains supply levels of food items, china, glassware, silverware, beverages and condiments. ? Complete all restocking and cleaning duties in the breakfast area/kitchen by performing opening and closing as instructed. ? Ensures cleanliness of food service area, floors, furniture and equipment in order to have a clean, presentable and attractive food service area at all times. Bus and clear table, clean spills, etc. Ensures cleanliness of Hotel Public Areas ? Ensures all items in the fridge are dated and past date items are disposed of to ensure highest possible regard for health and safety issues. ? Place orders and maintain inventory as required. ? Reports maintenance deficiencies and ensures repairs are completed as requested. ? Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. ? Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. ? Follows company policies and procedures. Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications: Education/ Experience: Basic reading and writing. Certification and/or License Requirement: Food handlers course

Skills: Customer service. Interpersonal communications. Organizational skills.

Working Conditions: Will be required to work weekends and holidays. Will be required to work in fast paced, stressful environment. May be asked to work overtime. Morning shifts.

The major responsibility in this position is to ensure food and beverage items are ordered/received and set up in the food service area, therefore a significant portion of time is spent standing, walking, lifting and pushing and pulling a cart. Communication skills are used a significant amount of the time when interacting with co-workers, guest and delivery employees. Carrying and lifting items (i.e. plates, utensils, cases of inventory) occurs frequently up to 50 lbs. Reading and writing abilities are utilized when completing paperwork. Reasoning, problem solving, and organizational abilities are used.

Pay: $15.60 per hour
