Responsibilities

Prepare and set up breakfast items according to established standards and menus. Communicate effectively with guests to provide assistance and answer any questions regarding the breakfast offerings. Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, counters, and food stations. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring guests have everything they need for an enjoyable meal experience. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times. Assist with restocking supplies as needed throughout the breakfast service. Collaborate with other hotel staff to support overall guest services and satisfaction.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hotel team. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and safety of guest rooms. Your role will directly impact guest satisfaction and contribute to a welcoming, clean environment for all hotel guests.

Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning:

Clean and maintain guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms. Replenish room amenities, towels, and supplies as required. Ensure all room surfaces, furniture, and fixtures are in good condition. Report any maintenance issues or damage to management for repair.

Guest Services:

Greet guests warmly, if seen in the hallway, and offer assistance when needed. Ensure that rooms are prepared and ready for check-in in accordance with hotel standards. Respond promptly to any guest requests for extra amenities or supplies.

Inventory Management:

Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies. Restock housekeeping supplies and linens according to hotel policies and procedures.

Health and Safety Standards:

Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper cleaning methods and handling of cleaning supplies. Adhere to hotel policies regarding the use of hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items (e.g., linen, cleaning supplies). Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus. A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must have License and car Food Handling certificate is a bonus
