Meridia has partnered with a trusted Canadian leader with a lengthy history of success in food manufacturing to find a dynamic, innovative, analytical, and driven professional for their high impact role of Brand Marketing Manager (18-month contract). Working on-site in Mississauga two days a week, in this hybrid workplace role, you will be responsible for all aspects of marketing activities for their brands and customers. You will guide marketing strategy development and execution, having a direct impact on profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading growth of brand equity through collaboration with a cross-functional team
  • Analyzing retail, sales, and consumer and customer insight data and incorporate it into strategy development.
  • Management of product portfolio and customer financial performance
  • Development of promotional activities to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Conducting ongoing market research and identifying competitor trends
  • Communicate brand awareness plans and programs to senior management; be the champion of product branding within the organization.
  • Lead product design, packaging, labelling, distribution, print and online advertising, and other tasks.
  • Support retail marketing activities
  • Establish and enhance product offering through identifying and assessing product and market opportunities and outlining franchise road maps to align with company objectives.
  • Partnering with sales, finance, and supply chain to build forecasts and manage operational challenges for the franchise.
  • Management of marketing budget for your assigned portfolio.
Qualifications:
  • Min. of 3 years of direct experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field
  • Success in developing consumer-focused brand strategies (e.g., product launches, execution of sales and marketing initiatives)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • An aptitude for managing projects and prioritization.
